    1.)60/3=20(red)
    2.)30-20=10,10/2=5(blue)
    3.)5-3=2, 2 is blue
    4.)since there is 1 yellow instead of 2 it equals 1 and since there is 4 pedals on the blue flower instead of 5 the blue flower equals 4 so the equation is 1+20+4=25

    Every time you multiply a number such as 2, it will increase by 1 each time. For example if I had 2=6, 2×3 would = 6, and the next number is 3. 3×4 does equal to 12 and the multiplying number increases by 1 each tie. So;
    7=56 (7×8=56)
    8=72 (8×9=72)
    9=90 (9×10=90)
    The answer is therefore 90, also the algebraic expression is n (squared+1).

    60/3=20 so the red flowers are 20
    30-20=10 10/2=5 so the blue flowers are 5
    5-3=2 so the yellow flowers are 2
    20+5+2=27
    therefore the ?=27

    For the second one:
    2=6 since 2*3=6
    3=12 since 3*4=12
    4=20 since 4*5=20
    5=30 since 5*6=30
    6=42 since 6*7=42
    and 9=90 since 9*10=90

  19. For the first you do 60 divided by 3 so one red flower is 20. For the next part you subtract 30-20 and you are left with 2 blues so divide 10 by 2 so that means one blue flower is 5. For the third part it's blue minus yellow so you can subtract the blue with the outcome and get 2 the value of yellow. But there is only 1 yellow flower in the final statement. So Red + Blue + Yellow = 25

    For the second question the pattern was start at 6 add 6 and add 2 to the number adding each time. So it resulted in 9=90

    2 times 3 = 6
    3 times 4 = 12
    4 times 5 = 20
    5 times 6 = 30
    6 times 7 = 42

    So then 9 times 10 = 90

  25. 1.) 60 divided by 3 is 20. There are 3 red flowers that are the same. That means the red flowers are the same. So if we were to divide 60 by 3 it would give us 20.

    The second problem is the same red flower. I already know that it is 20. So the red flower is 20. Then we can subtract 20 away from both sides. The answer would now equal 2 blue flowers is 10. The 2 blue flowers are same so we can divided by 2 to find what the blue flower is equal to. The blue flower is 5. One for each pedal.

    The 3rd equation is the blue flower subtract 2 yellow and the answer is 3. If we know the blue flower is equal to 5 so we can use inverse operation. 5-3 is 2, but there are 2 flowers. So, 2 divided by 2 is 1. One yellow flower is equal to 1.

    The 4th equation is one yellow flower plus one red flower plus 4 pedals in the blue flower. We know that the yellow flower is 1. We know that the red flower is 20, and we know that the 4 pedal flower is 4. If we add them all up, 1 plus 20 plus 4 is equal to 25.

    x + x + x = 60
    3x= 60
    3x ÷ 3= 60 ÷ 3
    x = 20

    20 + y + y= 30
    20 + 2y= 30
    20 + 2y - 20= 30 - 20
    2y = 10
    2y ÷2 = 10 ÷ 2
    y=5

    5 - a - a = 3
    5 - 2a = 3
    5 - 2a - 5= 3-5
    2a = -2
    2a ÷ 2 = -2 ÷ 2

  35. 1) If there are 3 Red Flowers, which equal 60, that probably means that each Red flower is worth 20 since 60/3=20.
    so:
    20+20+20=60

    Now if RF+BF+BF= 30, we know for sure that RF=20, so that only leaves 10 to be discovered using division, so we can find out how much each BF is. 10/2=5, so it makes each blue flower worth 10.

    Algebraically;
    RF+BF+BF=30
    20+BF+BF=30-20
    BF=10
    BF/2=10/2
    BF=5


    So now that we know that a Red flower is 20, a blue flower is worth 5, we need to know what a yellow flower (YF) is worth.
    **But, we can see in the picture that there are TWO yellow flowers together in the same operation.***
    So, we know that 5 is a blue flower, and now that we can deduct 3 from 5, we can see that all is left is two. 2/2 (the amount left over divided by the number of flowers that there are) is 1. Therefore, a yellow flower is worth 1, but since they are together in this equation it signifies as 2.

    Algebraically:
    BF-YFYF=3
    5-YF(2) =5-3
    YF(2) = 2
    YF(2)/2 = 1
    YF =1

    Check; 5-2= 3

    Now for the final equation. We know that RF=20, and BF=5, and YF=1 each.
    But, if you look closely, there are 4 petals, which can make the blue flower worth 4.

    so, algebraically, the answer is 25 since--

    YF+RF+BF= ?
    1+20+4= 25
    answer= 25

    the rule for this pattern is to multiply the Term Values by itself (squaring them) and adding the same number used to multiply them previously and add. So, for example 7 and 56 would be achieved by---

    =49+7

    =4x4+4
    =16+4
    =20

    to make it easier, the algebraic expression would be

    n squared+n
    (notice how the variables are the same letter, making it the same value to be used in the equation)

    let’s double check the term value for 9.

    The answer to the second question is 90 this is because 9*10=90
