  3. I want teachers to learn about number 6:students want their interests to be infused with their learning. If teachers don't know about this than they won't apply this. Students learn best when they learn about something that they like to to or want to achieve. If teachers don't infuse these stuff than students will get less infused with their learning. For example that person that was not paying attention and thought up a dream world. He thought up the thought bubble because he was bored and he didn't want anything to do with the lesson that was in progress and the person in the front is interested about the lesson and payed more attention to that one subject more than anything and was focused on the activity. This will result in low grades, which means low pay jobs.
Also number 2 :students want to have their voice in the learning process and want to share their way of doing things. If a student found a much easier way of doing things than that helps the other students to do better in various things which helps them get good grades which means good jobs and that helps the whole community. if teachers were aware of these issues than they would change their way of learning to help their student to achieve high grades and if they don't listen to the students and do everything their way than they won't get anywhere except a class with maybe a couple of lvl 3 and above students.

  4. The one that is really important to me is the second “students want to have a voice in the learning process and want to share ‘their’ way of doing things”. I think that it is important because it talks about how we can share our ideas with the class and teach in many different ways, if they had found a easier way of doing the work they can share it with the class and other classmates could know about that strategy too. It can be good thing that we need to have because then the students can show their knowledge power and how they can do their way of solving in many different ways from numbers, pictures, words, and orally of how they had gotten the answer.

We need to make a voice about our learning because we are the ones who are going to go in the future because the teachers have already done their school and we need to say things that are going to be applied to our learning and our education lifestyle. Sharing the way we do things is smart because we are able to show new and creative ideas to class by trying it and helping others with their work with many different ways of solving the problem, drawing and other work that they would learn in class with other students. The students should not be pressured by using the same problem solving way because if they don't understand the concept in that way they are able to change it up and make a new one so they can still know how to do rather than failing that subject.

An example could be that a teacher would only allow what they thought (example) and we can't change the way of solving the problem to make it either easier or harder for us to find the answer. that won't be good because it is us who are trying to make our learning style a bit easier so if we don't understand we are able to.

In my opinion i think that this will allow us to achieve in our education because with that the teachers would be able to see how we use our brain and make our strategies and how we can make new ways of solving the problem and how we are able to find the answer after all the different steps we had used in our work.

  5. What I want teachers to know about is number 7. “Students want educators to be truthful and honest.” I know teachers don’t want to say rude things since they would hurt students feelings, but I think they should always say the truth. It does not matter what it is about, always say the truth. If a teacher gives you an art assignment and when you work on it and ask for their opinion, they usually say it is going great and just give the student a tip on what to do. But sometimes the work is TERRIBLE and they say the same thing again because they do not want to hurt their feelings. The teachers sugar coat everything when they know it will hurt your feelings. So I think teachers should be a bit more honest. Students want your opinion. Not a lie.

  6. The one that is most important and realistic to me is number 6 that students want their interests and passions to be infused with their learning. I think that number 6 is the most important because students pay attention the most when they are learning what they like to learn. Students would learn better this way because they actually care and like what they are learning about. Knowing what a student likes to learn about would impact on how he learns for example if the teacher knows what the student likes to learn about they could impact it in their learning and help them learn better, by including what they have interests in and teaching them at the same time. For example some people like athletes dont learn by math they learn by how they want to learn to become what they like which is a athlete. If a teacher was more aware of number 6 they will start to teach you by how you like to learn which would make the students be more focused and pay attention more which will help them and the teacher.

  7. i think that number 3 is the most important because it is important that students are treated with respect. if students are treated like trash a lot of us would feel like they want to quit school. school would end up empty. after all we come to school to learn, not to be treated badly. it's important that we feel like we want to learn. it's easier to teach if students and teachers cooperate. it's hard to do that if we don't respect each other. that is why i think that number 3 is the most important.

  8. I think number ten is the most important out of all ten because everyone deserves to feel special because a lot can happen to a teenage student if they don't think that they're worthy enough to please people around them, but in my opinion, I don't think that people should change themselves just to please others because as long as you're satisfied with yourself, then forget about everyone around you.

If a teacher talks to a student like they have no purpose in this world, the student will have extremely low self esteem and if they don't want to feel like they fit in or they're worth it then they would probably fail and it's not technically all of their fault because the teacher is the person who brought the student down. When a teacher has inappropriate attitude towards a student , then the other students will follow the teacher's footsteps and the student will get bullied and when they're hurt by such a large group of people then they'll end up depressed. According to bullyingstatistics.org , depression and bullying is connected to low self esteem , anxiety and physical illness. When kids have social anxiety, they aren't capable of doing much or having a lot of friends. During a presentation, they will stutter and break down . They will also have panic attacks which wouldn't be too great because the whole entire class will erupt into laughter which makes everything worse. When people have anxiety they can't do much to solve their problems because they won't be able to open up to anyone because they're too scared to communicate .

Like I said before, teachers should set a good example for the students because if they don't things can get catastrophic. Ethan and Grayson Dolan are two normal twins living their lives when all of a sudden everyone just hated them for no reason and all their lives, they grew up discluded and unwanted and cyber bullied on twitter. People tweeted how they were losers and a bunch of idiots that are going to get beat up on their first day of high school and that tweet got about 100 retweets which meant that a lot of people hated them. One of their teachers made a inappropriate joke about them and soon since the teacher hated them, everyone else bullied them maybe because they were better. They were wrestlers, football players and they played lacrosse and normally they would be popular jocks but they weren't. Their sister was bullied for being their sister which is insanely idiotic of people were. Soon they decided to move because their parents were also the ones who received stink eyes and snarky comments down the street. Today they are successful YouTubers and Viners and as long as you think you're special, then you're alright.

Teachers should also respect the existence so everyone feels included and feel like they belong where they are.

  9. Most people need to understand that teacher need to communicate with their students. The reason I think that teachers are supposed to communicate better with their students because they get a better understanding of how they learn and communicate.teachers need to know what level their student are at and they also need to know what is happening in people and students life like if the are happy or if they are even going threw a struggle. The teacher have many ways to get to their student and even understand what style of teaching they need to teach.

creating a bond between teacher and student but this will help the student trust and believe that the teacher is their leader. When a student believe that they can do it and they also believe that the teacher is the best person to go to you know that you have trustful student and they will alway go to you if you had a good communication and teacher also need to trust in the student and so as the student.

when a student is in need of help the teacher are always there but most teacher just say go to the office but if you had a good relationship with you teachers, the teacher will always have a talk and will help you with anything that you need.student mean to have personalities like being depressed sad and some are just always happy but when student are depressed, teacher can alway be the company that you student need.If student need help them get out of their comfort zone and just make student happy.

  10. The one thing i want teachers to see Is number 6. “Students want their interests and passions I don't To be fused into the learning That appears in the classroom.I like number 6 Because of the creative learning style And that when teachers have many different ways of teaching The students may find a different learning style that they like. Sometimes it makes the student like the teacher more and then want to be taught by the teacher more, also have a better approach to learning. Sometimes doing this could have a better effect on all students and also the teacher just could find a new learning style for students in the class.

  11. When a student is being educated, he definitely has some things he wishes his teacher to know. The topics presented in this photograph, are all very intriguing, and I agree with them all. But if I had to pick one I would have to choose number one, “students want you to spend the time to get to know them” This is basically stating that students usually enjoy it when their teacher tries to get to know them and incorporate their feelings and thoughts.

I chose this topic for a variety of reasons. When a teacher gets to know you, he gets a better understanding of who you are, and where you came from and who you want to become. This important to me because, the educator can then understand why you make the choices you make and better decipher your style of work, because he understand why you do what you do.

When teachers spend their personal time with you to gain a better understanding of who you are, it gives the student a boost in confidence. The student in return feels a sense of pride and exclusiveness because his teacher is taking time out of his schedule, to talk to the student. That confidence, can cause the student to do better in his school work, because he believes that the teacher deems him of high enough status to spend personal time with him.

Building positive relationships with students can be the first step in forestalling bad behaviour from students. When students know more about you, and have the knowledge that you also know more about them. The more students respect you and your style of teaching, the better students will behave in class.

Teachers often demand respect from students, but give students no reason to do so. Younger children tend to cede to these demands, but unfortunately older children do not have the same views. Teachers of the modern era must take the time out of their schedules, to greet students, to gain a better understandings of how their students’ mind work and to genuinely care for each and every student’s well-being.

My current class is one of the most, if not the most, well behaved class I have ever been in. I think part of the credit goes to the educator. Students in the class respect his style of teaching and he tries to make an effort to gain a better understanding of his students. He demands respect, but the difference between him and many other educators, is he earns the respect he receives.

  12. I think that all of these points are very important and every educator should consider them every time they teach their students. Educators should treat every student with respect, have them express themselves, and should be given dignity and honor, but to me, I think that number ten:all students want to know their existence matters and that they are important.

I think that that one is the most important one because every student wants to know that there will be at least one person in this large world who won't give up on them. They want to know that their educator will always be there, no matter what. And if an educator can appreciate their students for who they are, then the students can appreciate teachers for never leaving them, no matter how hard it is for the student to learn. That creates a special bond and a better relationship between the student and the educator. That helps the educator and the student understand the importance of each other, especially the student, because a student wants to know that he or she matters and that they will be a valuable part of the future world.

For example, I remember watching a movie when I was little about a child who was dyslexic and no matter how hard he tried to read or write, he just couldn’t. His teachers gave up on him and so did his parents. They drowned his importance and sent him away to boarding school so that something would go inside his head, but they didn’t know that he was dyslexic. He became completely isolated because even his educator thought that he was unteachable and took away his importance. That was the time where his educator should’ve stood up and take on the challenge of encouraging the child to work harder and should’ve been there supporting him. Instead, the educator just put the child in the dark.

Every child wants to know that their existence matters and that they are important, and to me, that comes before expressing yourself and having a voice.

  13. I believe that educators should know number 2¨Students should have a voice in their learning process and share the way they do things. I believe that this is the most important thing because I want to share what i know. Also i want to give my opinion on what i think is important. The teacher can´t make all the decision! Furthermore students might not like what the teacher is giving.

I believe that that sharing what i know so far can benefit me. If i ever make a mistake the educator can help improve. If i don´t make a mistake my solution will go to the class giving them better understanding. Furthermore if other students were to have their own voice class that can help me understand on how i can improve. I say something that i don't understand i can get the concept clarified. If students were to have their own voice they can become great leaders. They can become great leaders because they speak on their mind. Becoming great leaders can give you a great future because you need a leader to to help you become a better person. You can get better work opportunity. So, we have practice when we are younger.

I believe that the teachers can't make all the decision. The students opinion matter otherwise we would not like what we do. For example i believe in our science class we don't do enough projects and labs. All we do is read the facts. We don't experiment with that. If we did we would have a better understanding on what we learned. Another would be we should do more group work activities in language. We barely do any group work activities in language. we can go over things that we might have missed on the work. which means we can improve ourselves.

I believe that if the teachers take charge we can´t make our choices. The teachers might give us way too much homework that we might not like. The teacher should give homework , but the amount of homework should be decided by the students. Another reason why teachers should give our voices might be the students hate what they are being given so they might not do the work or give very less effort. For example students can get in trouble by the teacher and their parents for not doing their work.

In conclusions students should have their voice in class for other to learn as well as you to learn. Having the teachers make the decisions is unfair. I believe that teachers should allow their students voices to come. Maybe then we can learn to stand up for the things that are right in this world.

  15. I personally believe that number 5 is important because when a teacher knows if a student is going through a "not so good" day, the teacher can try to help him or her by supporting them. For example if they are getting bullied, they really want their teacher to know, but, maybe because of blackmailing or embarrassment, they decide it's better off keeping it a secret. If the educator knows that the student is going through a hard time, they can try comforting them and helping them. They can also give the student advice. This can help the child to confront him/herself and feel better than before.

  16. If you ask me what is the most important factor of a students learning would be #6, which is "Students want their intristis and passions to be infused into the learning that occurs in the classroom." The reason why students would want this out of their learning is that, studrnts would want to do what THEY want in school.

Our school has a 10 day scedual which we follow, in order to reach out to all of the subjects. However we all have our different preferances with our subjects. Some students don't care for some subjects that they have the option to take. So maybe, students should get the option to chose their subjects and classes, and their very own 10 day scedual with all of the subjects of our choice.

You might be wondering how this would work. So my plan would be from grade 4 we get to chose our courses. There would be mandatory ones like: Language, Math, Science, Social Studies/Geography&History and there qould be ones that WE pick such as Physical Education/Health, Art, Dance, Drama, Music, and many more. However, for the kids that are Grade 3 and younger shouldn't choose their subjects because, by then some of the students might not yet be ready to choose their classes or know what and how they truly want to learn yet.

Also another part of this would be that the classrooms need to be filled with things that the soecific student enjoys doing. However they need to be educational OR only for display use. For example, if a student likes basketball, then other students with that intrests would join him with the intrist of basketball and fuse it into one classroom. All of their intrists would combine and it would make learning more interesting for them.

  17. I think that number 10 is the most important thing to consider for educators, in a student’s point of view. We should be made feel that we are important because it helps us keep going. After all, school does prepare us for the world ahead in the future, with jobs and degrees looming above us as we grow. If the teacher makes you feel like you belong here and reminds you or makes you feel about your importance and what great things you can accomplish here, then, of course students will be trying their best as they would actually WANT to accomplish great things and achievements there.

School, to me, and I’m pretty sure, to most people, is not just about homework and projects. It’s also about relations. And effort. As well as character traits we have to develop now so we can use them when we go out into the workplace of our choices. So, feeling that we can do our best really brings out the highest and true potential in us, even in things we may be considered weak at. Knowing that your teachers/educators will always be with you to support you and help you get better and more attaining at things really helps us grow. Not grow physically, but in a sense that it will help you grow as who you are as a PERSON. As a dedicated, committed, persevering, responsible, and respectful person, as you get by through your years through school. And an educator that lets students know of their existence and lets them know that they’re important really benefits them (from a student’s point of view).

Personally, if a teacher were to know that I was important and acknowledge that I exist, I would try my best because I would know that I am valued and respected as a student. This encourages students to try their best, and feel important and respected as well, and overall a better behaving student, with better character traits, no matter how ‘good’ or ‘bad’ he/she performs in school, according to the grades that they get, which, sure, may matter sometimes, but really the thing that matters is the overall effort and enthusiasm we put into our work, our relations and overall, our traits.

Sure, for us, getting up at 7, or 7:30 isn’t easy, especially if you wake up late and are rushing to get to school, or when you didn’t get much sleep the night before, or even on Mondays; but to be honest, it’s really all worth it if your teacher tells you that you’re doing a great job and to keep going, because then you keep striving to do your best and keep pushing yourself to reveal your potential.

  18. To me the 1 most important thing a student would want an educator to know is #5 “Students want educators to know they too have bad and off days.” I choose this because it actually happens to every student and relates, we all have our moments and I know teachers often say “Please keep it down I’m not having a great morning” and every student will likely be quiet. But that doesn't really happen with students.

Say if a student is having trouble at home or something is happening at school and they don’t feel comfortable talking about what’s going on and they just become self-sufficient. What if a teacher yells at them and they don’t know what's going on that student would probably go off the rails of being ok. I’m not saying that teachers should be the most polite or cut some slack on that one student that’s having a moment where they just look disturbed, they should talk to them and see what’s going on and if they don’t want to share what’s going on they should atleast reason with the student by letting them know how he or she is not socializing or talking, not cooperating in class work and hopefully that student realizes what’s going on.

I have had plenty of horrible, moody and exhausting days where I just feel really lazy, and I don’t want to say anything to anyone I just want to be left alone. I’ve had teachers ask me if I was ok is anything going on and they would tell me sometimes that I may not be being cooperative doing well for the day and that’s where i would pick up my slack and try to focus more and just try and do my best to get thru the day. That’s what everyone wants. But sometimes if no one knows really what’s going on and people keep pressuring you, you're going to actually start getting depressed and maybe even cry cause your mood just became worse. So this reason is very important to understand and this is one that I want educators to know and take in some thoughts.

  19. Students want you to spend the time to get to know them or students want their interests and passions to be infused into the learning that occurs in the classroom are the two I would pick for my teacher to know because I think that these two beneficial towards me.

    1) Students want you to spend the time to get to know them.
When a teacher gets to spend time to get to know them, the teacher will get to know how the student learns, their qualities, what their good and bad at, etc. Although teachers have a brief understanding of how their students are, they will get a better get to know them by getting to spend time with them. All teachers don’t have enough time to spend time with their students but just talking with them for 10-25 minutes is enough time to kinda know their students better. For example if a person in our class is getting bad marks because their getting bad marks on their test, if the teacher asks the student what’s going on and why the student is getting bad marks, the teacher will get a better understanding of why they are getting bad marks, maybe the student is going through some tough times or maybe he or she can’t learn from the way the educator is teaching. These things can really help with the student because now that the teacher knows why he or she is getting bad marks they can adjust the way teach so that it is easier for most to understand. I am not saying that I am going through tough times in my life but I’m saying that it is good for a teacher to better know how a student is.

6)Students want their interests and passions to be infused into the learning that occurs in the classroom.

I really don’t enjoy learning from taking notes and figuring things out for myself, I don’t enjoy it but I do learn from it. If I got to learn by doing things that enjoy doing, then I would enjoy learning and learn things, This does not mean that If i got to play my favourite sport all day I would learn but, If I got to do hands on projects that require thinking , and hands on activity, then I would enjoy it much more than taking notes from a textbook. I would want my teacher to know this because not all students learn the same way. some learn better from doing hands on activities and some learn better by taking notes from books, personally i’d rather do hands on activities like projects, etc. I still learn from taking notes but I enjoy hands on activities more. The hands on work that we should get should not be less academic than notes, but more harder and time consuming which can get the students going. This way does not benefit all students but it most times benefits me, which is why I want educators to know about me.

These are the two things I want my Educators to know.

  21. i would like teachers to know about number 6:" students want their interests & passion to be infused into the learning that occurs in the classroom "m y reason for picking number 6 is because i`m a student myself and most students learn best when doing something they love or interested in eg if a good amount of students are passionate about music but ur in history they can do musically presentations . also if the teachers each what the students are interested in they`ll pay more attention in class and if they pay attention in class they might get high grades and high grades result in high paying jobs.

i also think teachers should learn about number 2:i think that the students want to have a voice in the learning process and they want to share "their" way of doing something . if students find an easier way to do their work and their comfortable doing it i think they would get good grades and they could share that method of doing their work

  22. I chose the first one which says ( students want you to spend the time to get to know them). I chose this one as the important one because if the teachers take a few minutes of there free time and get to know the students more by spending more time than they might learn something new about them especially the ones who barely talks and the ones they are most suspicious about. Sometimes it's good to spend some time with students . Spending time with students will help you and the students a lot . Getting close to the students will give you a better understanding of how they really are. Some students have a reason to act different at school but by getting to know them more you will get a better understanding of why they act like that. Spending too much time with students are not always good when they get too close to you they can start taking advantage and make up stories that are believe able so they don't have to do their work.

  25. In my opinion I believe that number 2 "students want to have a voice in the learning process and want to share their way of doing things " I choose this out of all because every student has a moment where they don't understand what's going on and have to have it explained to them in a different way or even when they feel like learning this way isn't really helping.

When teachers know that student want them to have their ability or style of learning this helps teachers know that maybe student don't understand the way I teach them and like to share their voice and styles or abilities of learning .This is going to help students achieve their accomplishments because the students are able to learn in a way that they are really comfortable and understand, this is going to help them be better in learning wise.

I want teachers to know that maybe if I didn´t understand anything I will be able to ask any other student for help for example when I understand algebra I asked another student for help I understood it much better , this helped me so much better.

  26. i think the most important and realistic one is #5
(student want teachers to know that they too have bad and off days) because a lot of teachers dont understand u cant be perfect all the time. just because u get good grades and participate actively a lot, doesn't mean that it will always be like that. students can have bad days because something is going on at home or they are feeling sick. i think if teachers see a change in kids they should try to talk to them.
