The book i am reading is named as "PARANORMALCY"and it's about a girl named Evie. she is the only one who can see through paranormals but still she act and feel like she is NORMAL. She does look like normal because she is not any kind of creature like her friends are, one of her friend is vampire, one is faerie, and her best friend is mermaid. And there are no similarities between me and Evie( the main character of book)..

Deletethe actual mythilogical story behind mermaids has portrayed them as a creature that luries sailors to there doom and are very dangiourous. the actual mermaids of the sea are mursyless and can sink boats, they give the allusion of an attractive woman when they are the complete opposite, making them seem harmliss. you are not afraid of what hollywood portrays a mermaid, because they are grossly understated in movies and showed as loving creatures.

Delete@Abeeshan, Yes I am enjoying this book with great plesure. What makes it engaging are the characters and all the trials and errors and difficulties they go through being different. All the excitement and thrils, wanting to know what comes next, makes me want to keep reading.
DeleteWell what happened so far in the book, is that, Bella has finally found Edward in Volterra. You see what had happened was that, Edward had thought that Bella had killed herself. Which is not true. And Edward said how he does not want to live without her. And since Edward is a vampire he goes out to the sun. When he goes out to the sun he will sparkle. And once he sparkles he will expose himself as who he truly is-a vampire. And by that, the Volteri vampires will kill him.
@Aynur,Well I really, really, really enjoy Jacob Black and Edward Cullen (Mostly Jacob). I just feel that Jacob is so warm and caring. And he cares so much for Bella, and Bella is just leading him on half the time. One trait that I like of Jacob is that he's so protective and caring and its cute when he gets jealous but also scary at the same time.

DeleteWell, most the times all she does is cause trouble and she makes a lot of mistakes in the book. She thirsts for Jacob and Edward's attention. An attention seeking, demanding,stalking, can't make up her mind about which boy she wants and she is willing to nearly kill herself to get the attention of the man who she is obsessed with. She winges about the fact that all the boys at school love her and the popular crowd wants to be friends with her. Bella does make a point of stating she hates being the center of attention, but that's not true.

Is it like the guys are fighting over her. Like she is the princess and ALWAYS needs to be rescued?
DeleteYes exactly like that. She wants Edward back and she wants Jacob too. But she later chooses Edward over Jacob in the other books. So I don't see why shes always leading him on like that. She's an attention seeker and shes an annoying pest. Then you've got poor, dumb, love-struck Jacob, who couldn't think his way out of a wet paper bag. Jacob follows Bella around like a love-sick dog– and continues to try his luck with her, in spite of the fact that she is clearly stringing him along for her own selfish gratification.

This character has a passion for basketball,ths kid is in grade 6 and loves to be in center of attention with laughter that he made.Nick has blonde hair and he is almost the tallest kid in the class.He is also the co-captain of the basketball team.

DeleteThe main character in the book series hush, hush by Becca Fitspatrick is Nora Grey. She has curly hair, long legs, she's skinny, and tries her best in school and takes it very seriously. She and her best friend Vee get seperated in biology class, and Nora gets a new partner named Patch. She secretly starts having feelings for him. Feelings that she's not so sure are right. She's kind of shy and outgoing at the same time, but I'd say I'm more shy than outgoing and it would take me a while to get used to a new place or thing. I wouldn't call myself smart, but I do try my best at school(sometimes laziness overcomes me, but I'm working on it). She is soo much more outgoing and likes to do things more than let it on it's own. What I mean is that whe she thought a new friend she met was a murderer because of a newspaper from awhile back, and she went out to investigate. If that was me i'd probably sit home, and try to avoid any contact with the murderer /friend
ReplyDeleteThe guy that she is now partnered with is a fallen angel who falls in love with Nora as time passes(in the beginning he likes her but I'm not sure if he's in love with her just yet) All I have left to say is that it's the best book made by man kind so far that I've read:D I recommend it to people who like paranormalcy, a bit of romance and mystery!!!

ReplyDeleteThe main character is Nora Grey. She is skinny and tall with long dark brown curly hair. Her father died when she was younger and lives with her mom in a farmhouse in a town called Coldwater.
Nora is a very curious person, when something small comes up, she goes through thick and thin to find out everything she can about it. She doesn't trust easily, but sometimes tends to believe what someone tells her.
She doesn't forget what anyone tells her, she holds on to anything she could. Nora could easily hold a grudge against you if you do something bad to her.
When she's at school, she doesn't want all the attention, she just wants to get through the day with decent marks. But it's hard for her when Marcie Millar, the one person who hates her with passion, is always there to ruin her day.
Nora's best friend is Vee. They've known each other for years and years and know almost everything about each other. Vee is the only person Nora knows she could trust with anything she needs, and they will always be there for each other to have their backs.

The night he was killed he went to get info from a friend to help keep Nora safe. But Rixon was faster and killed him before he could leave. Rixon was there so he could find Nora. If he killed her, we would become human (since she's nephil) which is every fallen angels dream.

DeleteSo i'm reading HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF PHOENIX(again) and obviously the main character is Harry Potter. Now Harry is a skinny kid with knobby knees, jet black hair that always stood up at the end. He also wore round glasses that were sometimes held together by tape. The most noticeable part of him is the lightning bolt scar on his forehead which he tends to hide with the fringe of his hair.

DeleteLike Harry, I like when people respect my space. He gets a lot of attention by other people when he gets in trouble or claims something. I also like a bit of space when I have issues. I don't need others to craddle me like a baby and take care of me. But like Harry, I have certain people that I would tell most of my problems. When they don't understand, I get frustrated with them.

DeleteWell telling you some of the book is hard considering that it's the fifth book and I hate spoilers even if a person won't read the book. So the book is about Harry. His parents were killed by the evil wizard Voldemort AKA He Who Must Not Be Named. When Voldemort tried killing Harry, something back fired which made Voldemort disappear. That is how Harry got his scar. He was forcedto live with his muggle(non magic) uncle, aunt and cousin being tortured for 11 years. Then Harry found out he was a wizard. That is just basic knowledge. Now in THIS book Harry recently saw the return of Voldemort and his death eaters. Dumbledore believes him and tells everyone about Voldemort. The ministry(their government) calls Harry and Dumbledore fools, so only a few believe them. Harry later finds about a secret order, led by Dumbledore, to stop Voldemort. Harry then later has to return to Hogwarts(school). At Hogwarts Harry finds out the ministry is trying to interfere with Hogwarts. Now Harry and others in Hogwarts try to rebel against them.

Harry is brave, persisent and overall an amazing person. Harry is brave because he witnessed the return of Voldemort and he saw Voldemort kill people like Cedric Diggory right in front of his eyes. After being traumatized like that, you'd think he'd feel like there was no point in living. Yet he still manages to do what he does. He's persistent because he's suffered so much. He's lived with horrible people and has endured the loss of so many of his love ones. Yet he stays focused to little things and big things, like uh, SAVING THE WIZARDING WORLD.

DeleteWell he really acted anyway he was feeling. See he has Ron and Hermione who he would tell pretty much anything. However, he'd be under pressure a lot. That resulting in Harry releasing all his anger on them. But in general, he acts nice to others.

DeleteNo I don't think I can handle all that pressure. I don't think anyone can handle ALL that pressure. Think about it. Harry grew up almost like a slave with his relatives. Then in his first year, he meets an odd version of Dumbledore. In his second year the same thing happens. In his third year he finds out about a guy who helped Voldemort in killing his parents, who then escapes. In his forth year he's forced to enter a dangerous wizarding contest. His entering of that competition is merely a plan to get him to Voldemort. Then he sees Voldemort return. In the rest of the books, he's preparing for a war against Voldemort while he loses so many of the people he loves. I hope that proves why I wouldn't be able to handle all the pressure .
The book I'm reading is called Break Down by Sara Paretsky. The main character is V.I. Warshawski, she's an old detective, she's one of those people who as soon as she sees or knows about something, she's involved, and nothing you do, say, or pay would get her out of the case.

DeleteNo it isn't, she almost got shot trying to save her cousin from an angry mob attacking her just because she works for a company that helps immigrants. If I were in her place, I wouldn't do something that extreme but I would still be there for whoever!
DeleteThe book I'm reading is called Double Cross, its actually a series of books by Norah McClintock called 'Chloe and Levesque Mysteries'. The main character is Chloe, shes blonde and has a short-tempered attitude and also shes sixteen years of age. She's actually from Quebec, but moved to East Hastings a small town full of mysteries and unsolved murders and suicides. Chloe is a very sarcastic and smart girl.Since she knows French, she tops her class. Shes a journalist in the school newspaper since shes really good at English. Her father who is a police officer, is well known in East Hastings because of the crimes hes solved. Chloe all in all, is a bit mean at times, gets annoyed easily, smart, and has a brain full of ideas.

Deletethe book that i am reading is the 3d book my brother ever read. ever. meaning i feel more of an attachment to it. this seres was read to my brother and i when i was 5, i wasent paying attention but my brother was so involved with the series that he had my mother paint the Hogwarts castle on his wall.
ReplyDeletethe character that i will be speaking of is non other than Harry Potter. he is a small 13 year old boy with broken, round black glasses that rested akwardy on his small face. his black short hair was almost constantly messy, and unkempt that parshaly covered the farly obviuos scar, whitch was shaped as a lightning bolt.
Harry is a very well manered boy, but grossly underestemated by his aunt,uncle and cousen. for a boy who had lived in a small cupbord under the stairs, he was always trying to find the upsides to everything, for example in the first book (i am on the third) harry goes to the zoo with anticipation, eventhough he knows that his spoiled cousin will ruin the trip, he looks forward to seeing the animals. i find Harry as a warm, reliyable, lovable character.
the simalaritys we have are love for adventure, sticking with true friends and makes good choices whitch can impact the future.

DeleteEdward Cullen is kind of beautiful. With his marble skin, hard as ice and smooth. Edward is very smart, calm and caring and loving. He cares and loves for Bella in a way thats unexplainable. Well in the book he feels deeply mad in love with Bella Swan and would even die for her, as he does attempt in the book. He has to do things in this book that hurt Bella that im sure he regrets. With Edwards hatred towards Jacob, Bella has too soon pick a side.

DeleteWell, at this point in the book, Edward has already broken up with Bella because he thinks its the best thing. But Bella differs with that and try too get him back but ends up failing. And at the point i'm at Jacob is not too happy with Bella.

Because there both so heavily intriging and very attractive, it will be difficult for her to chose. If she takes one she can't have the other and she wants both. But she can't have both.

DeleteThe main charater is Tyray. Because He was a big bully, and he always picks on people for no reason so this is a small summary of how the book goes.I read Payback by Paul Langan. It is in the Bluford High series. The book is about this big bully named Tyray. He always picks on everyone. Then one day there was a new kid named Darrell who started going to Bluford. When Tyray found out about this new kid. He had a perfect idea to pick on him. When Darrell got sick of Tyray picking on him and everyone else he decided to stand up to him. It was at lunch and Tyray started to walk over to Darrell. Darrell stood up and knocked Tyray out. Ever since that day no one is scared of Tyray and they all look up to Darrell.

DeleteThe main character in the book I am reading is a slave girl that doesn't even know her own name or how she is. She also doesn't know who her parents are or how to count past 10. Though later in the story, she escapes the palace with a dragon called Danzi. He teaches her to count past ten and tells the slave girl her name. It's Ping. She skinny but not unhealthy. She has only one set of clothes and has a pet rat named Hua. Later on in the story she gets knew clothes. Even though she was a slave, she never feels lonely.

DeleteThe book I'm reading is THE HUNGER GAMES, and the main character is Katniss Everdeen. In the book she is described Skinny, beautiful, A hunters body and fairly tall. Katniss is very scared because she is entered in the very deadly HUNGER GAMES. In the hunger games you are to compete with 24 people to the death. Only one person is left standing in the end.

Katniss is Determined to win but has alot of stuff to cope with like like stress and nerves because she has a family at home that needs her. Katniss's motivation is her little sister who she loves to death and is the reason why she wants to win so badly.
A simalarity between Katniss and me is i think we both are determined if we set our minds to it. For example if Katniss needs food she wont give up until she gets the food because she knows she has her mom and little sister to feed and so she'll be determined to get the food, and as for me if I am determined to get a good grade and I study hard and I truly try I know ill get the grade.
There's actually 12 districts... Katniss wasn't chosen, he sister Prim was. To protect her, she took her place her place as tribute.

DeleteThe main character of the book that I'm reading called Shiver, is Grace. She’s very different but decent. She feels a lot, and her feelings are sort of like her "5th" sense. Ever since a pack of wolves attacked her, she’s been very fond of one wolf that saved her for almost 6 years. The wolf has yellow eyes with beautiful specks surrounding the pupils. He would always watch her every day ever since the attack where her backyard is. Her backyard is connected to the forest, and so she would always come out and watch the wolf too. I guess she had these feelings ever since the wolf was generous enough to pull her out of the attack. Whenever she looked at this wolf and it looked back, she felt safe. She's quiet, teasing, gentle person.

She saw a naked guy that had been shot in the shoulder. She saw and ran towards him to help him. She knew that it was her wolf and she also just felt that he somehow transformed, and was a werewolf, he opened his eyes, those yellow eyes she loved so much, and they just both knew each other. His name is Sam. Sam had a mysterious personality, but certain softness to him that Grace admired. From there, something new had begun, a journey, a battle for life.
Sounds like a very good book, after all it's not those generic books you would find like.Food fight.etc.

DeleteThe book i am reading is hush,hush by Becca Fitzpatrick. I started reading this book on friday and it such a good book that i have gotten almost half ways through.The main character in my book hush,hush is Nora,Patch and Vee these 3 characters are used the most in the book but if i were to cut it down into one it would be Nora because she is the one narrarating the story about her life. The book is about a boy named patch and a girl named nora and her best friend vee. Its bio class and the teacher decided to change seats and now no longer do vee and Nora sit together but Nora sits beside this boy named Patch, she finds him different , a bit weired he has dark black eyes and barley talks in class. I don't no how to discribe nora because it doesnt give any detail but i know she feels freaked out, interested into he guy, angry , a detective.

In the cover of the book there is this man with black wings the whole book is on black he is jumping/flying and that kind of decribes patch. Patch is a dark person he wears black and seems like he is hiding something, and i think hes hiding that he has wings. In the book Nora said when she sat beside him she felt that sparkness betweent them two the shine in his eyes , later on in the book Nora is driving Vee's car and she gets into an accident she goes to show vee and everything in the car was perfect no scartched no damage at all! She felt confused but i think it was Patch because something like this happened in the book twilight. That boy patch seems to be interested in Nora because he did use some pick up lines on her. In my vision Patch seems like Jacob or Edward cullen from the book twilight he seem muscular someone different , not a "normal" persson , he seems dark, he had cold grey eyes nice eyes those grey eyes seems like magnets chiling to every move, someone that may like to play pool, doesnt smoke or take any drugs , he seemed confindent
I don't know why people find these type of books so interesting.I must know because from my analogy it's that those romance books are very popular at these times.
DeleteThe book I've just finished reading is by Geronimo Stilton who claims himself as the Main character "Geronimo Stilton._." The book is called: THE WILD,WILD WEST. Geronimo is pretty dope,and so cheesy at times.I mean who's afraid of everything at sight *sigh*.He's relentevly smart and clever,but frightened and clueless most of the times.Sometimes he can be a pain.Hes old,scrawny,and ugly looking with granny style glasses *Shame*. He could be amazingly unexpected at some point of the books,but a major loser.He needs to step up and be a manly rodent.His feelings are mostly toward his family,as in caring and loving.

ReplyDeleteWe don't trust easily. Nora only trusts 4 people in her life : her bestfriend Vee, Patch, Scott, and her mother Blythe. I'd say the same about myself, if someone trys telling me something, I'm always trying to figure out if i could believe what they're telling me is true.

Augie looks a person that likes school because it says in the book that Augie wouldn’t be happy about waiting and I think that means she won’t like to be late for school. And Augie likes being friends with Ricky and Also Augie looks like she likes some on Ricky animals he has.
Mr. Johnston looks like a person that likes Ricky in his class because they both like animals and also I think that like Ricky in his class because they both like animals and also I think that Mr. Johnston likes to teach kids about cell biology.
The similarities that the main characters and I have are that we both like animals and that we both likes going to school.

ReplyDeleteThe book im reading is catching fire by Suzzane Collins.the main character in this book is a girl named Katniss Everdeen who is from district twelve and is forced to volunteer for her little sister who gets picked to fight for her life in the annual 74th hunger games along with Peeta Mellark.Peeta is a boy who likes Katniss but doesnt tell her till the interview.In the games Katniss has to fight alone with Rue a little girl who wqas from district eight.but when she dies katniss finds out that if two people from the same district are alive they can both be the victors of the 74th hunger games.Peeta and Katniss find each other and katniss has to pretend like shes in love with peeta and now there nknown as the star crossed lovers of district 12.now that they won the hunger games Katniss has to prove to president Snow and the rest of the capitol that she is madly in love with Peeta or else her family and freinds will be kiled along with her and Peeta.the only way that can happen is Katniss has to marry Peeta.But her only problem is she doesnt like Peeta she likes the guy back home named Gale.Katniss is now stuck with her family on one side and her best freind Gale on one side.

The book im reading is "WORD NERD", the main character is Ambrose Bukowski a 12 year old kid who has an deathly allergy of peanuts also has an over protective mother named Irene. He has glasses and wears a weird hat, and he is really awkward. Me and Ambrose have almost nothing in common, we both have glasses and act diffrently around diffrent people, like if i dont know someone i act shy like and if i know someone i act hyper.

ReplyDeleteThe book I'm reading is called GRACELING by Kristin Cashore. The main character is named Katsa and she is supposedly Graced with killing(being Graced means that you have a superior skill to normal humans such as speed, sword fighting, or hand-to-hand combat). Her Uncle, King Randa of the Middluns of the Seven Kingdoms, uses her as his 'lady killer' going around dealing out punishments to rebel lords as Randa sees fit. Secretly though, Katsa and some of King Randa's top spies came up with the idea of establishing a secret Council. Katsa is the leader and they carry out missions of peacekeeping such as stopping night raids on small villages, bringing food supplies to hungry towns, and doing rescue missions. The most recent rescue mission they did was to steal the King of the Lienid Kingdom's father, Prince/Grandfather Tealif from King Murgon, King of Sunder's dungeons. On this mission Katsa meets a Graced fighter in Murgons court on the way to the dungeons. He made small talk with her and she eventually decides to fight him. He matched all her movements until she managed to get behind him and kick him in the head. Knocked out, Katsa gave him a sleeping pill so he wouldn't wake up. Later she finds out that he is the youngest of the seven princes of Lienid, Prince Greening, accuratley nicknamed Po because of his gold and silver eyes. She meets him and get's to know him and learn the true power of his Grace. He is able to sense anything and everything and occasionaly read peoples mind when their thoughts are on him. Later they go on a journey to find out who captured Prince Tealif and why. While travelling they figure out Katsa's Grace is actually survial due to the fact that she nearly killed a mountain lion with her bare hands(she ended up stabbing it in the throat with her knife). As well, they find out the 'peace-loving'(not) King Leck of Monsea captured Prince Tealif. They divine that he himself was Graced with the ability to cast a sort of mind control over his victims with words. They planed to assassinate Leck. They find his daughter, Bitterblue, and do their best to save her. They succeed and take her to a cave. Po goes after Leck while Katsa stayed with Bitterblue. Po comes back and falls of a ledge and hits face-first from 30 feet up. He is blinded but doesn't tell Katsa. He eventualy comes to the realization that he is slowing them down and they find a cabin in the woods and Katsa and Bitterblue leave him there and get a ship to Lienid to find Leck already there. Katsa uses all of her willpower and breaks free of Lecks control and knifes him in the mouth nailing him to the chair he was sitting on. He died instantly. They all get everything straight and head to Po's cabin in the woods. There, they find out he's blind and then they live happily for the rest of their lives, THE END!!!!!!

If we were friends I'd probabnly knock the truth out of her to tell me what happens between them(I'm nosy) by talking alot and would give her advice, and also be a bit jealous because they adventually become bf and gf anf they are seperated in the second book because the amount of time he spends withmarcie, her acrch enemy. Patch is sly, good looking(the way she explains him), knows how to talk to a girl, and loves Nora its just the cutest thing OMG srry im obsessive lol:D

The book that I am reading is " 13 secrets" by : Michelle Harrison. I have only read 5 chapters in this book so far. From what I have read in the text, I inquired that the main character is "Tanya". As a reader, it seems that she is very troubled. She is lonely and feels depression with hate. This girl is no ordinary girl. She can see fairies. Now when you think of fairies, you may be thinking of pink and purple with glimmer sparkle but, that's not it. These fairies are just small brats ruining her life. They are evil fairies torturing her. She seems like a normal girl wearing normal cloths. She has a normal day but, at night it's hell. She can't sleep ever. The fairies torture her abusing her physically and mentally. She is depressed with the fact that she can;t keep them away. She knows there is others who can see fairies but, she doesn't know how to find the others. She is depressed by the fact that her mom hates her. Her mom thinks she's going crazy and has to deal with outrages situations. Her mom had actually sent her away so she can get a break from Tanya. Tanya is hated by her mom and the fairies. She is sent to a place with even MORE fairies. By now, if I was her I would start crying and hiding under my covers however, that wouldn't help. The annoyance feeling and torture to deal with more fairies is killing her. From her perspective, it totally changes what I have always thought. It would be awesome to carry a great secret or have different, special friends. From what I had read, I'm out on fairies!
