  1. My favourite picking was to Appreciate life’s perfect moments. This was my favourite because if you do not appreeciate lifes perfect momment then you would always be thinking about the negitive part of life. Which does lower your self esteem. Thinking about negitive things in life does not increase positivity, instead it decreases it. Therefore, this is my favourite picking and I suggest you to forget and leave all the negitivity of your past behind, because the past is NOT going to come again. Live in the PRESENT and hope the best for the FUTURE.

    3. That's a very important trait that causes low self confidence. "If you do not appreeciate lifes perfect momment then you would always be thinking about the negitive part of life. Which does lower your self esteem."

    4. Something I've noticed is that I don't appreciate life's perfect moment until it's done and I realize how perfect it was. In a way, that is good since I was so busy and engaged that I didn't need to convince myself. On the other hadn't, when you are having fun, just have fun to the fullest because, eventually it will be a perfect moment.

    5. I do agree with you Heta, it is important to appreciate one of life's perfect moments. Even in the darkest of times, when there never seems to be a perfect moment, we must keep it in mind that one is on it's way. Life isn't one big perfect moment, it's just full of little pieces of perfect moments and bad ones, and what we gotta do is get through the bad ones, and enjoy the good ones.

I agree with how you said that "Thinking about negative things in life does not increase positivity, instead it decreases it".It certainly does decrease our ability to see life in a better way,instead we end up all sad in agond.Withstanding the pain and hardships in life.We need to learn to appreciate and embrace life as its on a run and constant battle with ourselves.In order to appreciate life we have to accept and love ourselves first.

  2. I went through all of the trait and I thought that Embrace life’s challenges was the best one.I think this trait is the best because it tells you how you should just face your fear. Because some people fear of doing hard challenges and are too scared to face them. This is not only about facing your fear its is about embracing it. so I completely agree with this trait, in fact I am going to use it when i am doing any sport.

    1. Yes, I agree with you Navdeep. The truth is just smile and show what you got for the challenge. It's as if your cracking your knuckles and getting ready to fight the challenge. Even if it's hard, show that it's easy and just go through it. Eventually, this becomes a important moment of your life where you can say " I had done this in my life." and it would show high of yourself. It's as if you say, I went mountain climbing when I was 6. It shows awesomeness and your ability to do things. Challenges are like the cool part of your life that you can brag about later on.

I agree with you Navdeep partially,although embracing life's challenge means to completly accept things the way they are.Life isn't perfect and the challenges are bound to appear.Though the main obstacle would be ourselves,since we choose how life goes on.We are the ones to mend life accordingly how it appears on us.The challenges are like dark thunder clouds,its upon us wether we chose to run away or face it.How would you relate this to sports? do you mean the challenges that come along with it...

  3. I have 3 of those personalities and those are to work with positive people, smile to heal my self form agony and to embrace lifes challenges. I do this everyday of my life for example i embrace the weathers that life brings forth or how i always smile to keep my self pumped up and not let depression get to me.I also choose positive students for my group so we can overcome challenges.this is how these personalties effect my life.

    2. Being with positive people is good. They have the same intentions as you do to succeed and will help you on the way. You shouldn't hang out with the negative people. They will just tell you to have fun, but in the end when your marks drop low, or your life is in trouble, they won't be the ones there for you. Those people are for themselves and might even succeed over you with a trick or in an unbelievable way.

    3. @Aniqa yes indeed being with positive people is good.But not everyone haa the same intentions.Were all different and see things differently.The people we chose to be with,are a reflection of what we are.We chose to hang out with people who make us feel loved and cared for.We chose them because we have confidence and trust in them.But at times those we never trust, are the ones who were always there for us.We can't jusr judge people by there nature.because we know them not there story.

  4. My favourite from the article is trait #1. I like that one the most because it explains to be as cheerful as can be, and to be yourself. There's no reason waking up full of negative thoughts, something great might actually happen. Every day is a new day, so something new is possible everyday.

    Other traits that explain myself are 8, 5, 4. If i see one of my friends are having a bad day I always try to make them feel better. Everyday something new is possible, so don't give up. And lastly, face all the challenges life is throwing at you, they're coming at you for a reason.

    3. Sarah I agree to the most of how you said "And lastly, face all the challenges life is throwing at you, they're coming at you for a reason." This is very true. They come for a reason and they will make certain changes in your life depending on how you go through the challenge. Challenges are given to people who can handle it. They are given to strong people so you should feel honored. More pressure will come if you are strong cause, you can handle it. MAKE YOURSELF STRONGER.

A consistent positive attitude is the cheapest ‘fountain of youth.’ You’ve got to dance like there’s nobody watching, love like you’ll never be hurt, sing like there’s nobody listening, and live like it’s heaven on Earth". This trait is my favourite bacause if you always try and find something to smile about each day, I truly believe you'll feel better about yourself. Even if it may not feel better about yourself, you'll atleast feel better, even if it's not about yourself , I know from experience.

    3. Even when you aren't in the mood to smile, just do it! It does help instead of treating yourself and others in a negative way, through out some time you wont realize your smiling for no reason, and you'll also feel better.

    4. What if you can't find something to smile about Fatma? In one of the traits it said to smile everyday for no reason. If you smile for a reason, and that reason is gone, will you stop smiling? It's like smiling for sunny days but, how about the rainy ones? You can't do anything about it..and also it is god's creation right? You can't stop smiling for that! Smile for no reason like it's a a habit or it's just part of your personality.

    2. Because they are also one of my favourite traits to helping someone regain their self confidence. I mainly find those 4 traits most helpful. I agree with those traits. They some how represent my self confidence/how i regain self confidence.

  8. I think that the most importent traits are 1,3,7,8. I think the first one is importent because if you wake up in the morning with the idea something good is gonna happen then the rest of your day is most likely to be as good as your morning.
    I think trait three is importent because noone's life is perfect. So it's good to enjoy those everyday little moments that can make your day because something as simple as a smile can make your day so whats the point of not cherishing it?
    I think trait #7 is importent as well because its better to be happy for no reason at all because its true if your happy about something then that something your happy about can change really fast and ruin your day so its better to just be happy for no reason cause that way theres no chance of you to be unhappy. :)
    fianlly I think trait #8 is importent because if you help the people around you smile or give them a nice compliment who knows maybe you'll have a bad day tomorrow and that person will be the one to make you smile. :)

    2. How do you apply all this to your own problems? I mean at times we can be pretty positive with all those traits but what if during those moments we know that there are other problems waiting in the future, how can we just block it all out? The positive will probably last for only a little amount of time, but where does it go when we're facing a problem?

  9. Living a happy life is important because it brings cheerfulness to whatever you do. It is very important because you can feel good about yourself. Happiness is fun and it feels good. That is a worthwhile reason why happiness is important all by itself. But that’s not all it brings much more like: Live Longer Have Better Health Bounce Back Faster More Likely to Be Romantically Involved Look for the Win-Win. Out of the whole article all the points were very true but I chose: Spend time with positive people. People you hang around their view of thinking and their habits end up rubbing off on you and the more people you hang out with the people that have the positive attitude will rub off on you too. It’s like if you hang out with people that are reckless , you will turn reckless to because there is a reason you hang out with them and when they go to do something you can’t always say no so , you are in what you do and who you hang out with. Now there are a bunch of groups of friends.. Even at our school and it’s your job to find what group you fit best in you will always need those pair of friends that will help you get back up when you fall those ones that will make you have a load of fun but you will join that group that suits you best...but in that “group” not everyone will be supportive of you so make sure you find people that never put you down and friends that act like friends 

I haven't noticed this until you had mentioned this in this form of line. I have been through this so much. I need to fix that because, I bring the bad things home and my parents tell me to get rid of them.

I always Celebrate my existence being here on this planet because when do you ever know how long you will stay , how long you will be with friends family and everything else.Its good to be happy everyday and party but remember that we have school because you never know how long we live ..we can live more when we hit the age of 30 so make sure you party but also be careful and do things that you will need in the future

    2. Think of it this way, if you didn't have such a good self esteem, would you really want to celebrate your existence? Would you want to
      celebrate your existence thinking your not the best out there? Leading yourself to believing that you can't change that? But I agree with being thankful. If we have a low self esteem, we should always know better to be thankful that we are even alive, and if you don't know it, there are people who love you just for being you. No one should change that and make themselves feeling negative, when we know there is always room for improvement, not because others are better, but because we can always be better.

I think my favorite would be to celebrate your existence because you should be happy that you have the privileges of living your life the way you want (except for the fact that you have to go by the law).you should be proud of the things you did so far and try to succeed in the things you are planning to do. Do the things you love to do the most. Take the day off from work, ride your bike for fun, or do some thing you really enjoy doing whether its with your friends and family or its just you yourself too.

  12. i think the important traits to me where 9,8,4

    i think number 9 is important because if you don't hang out with people who have positive thoughts you usually don't have positive thoughts if the group you hang out with has negative thoughts you would probably have negative thoughts also because there just basically saying - things and those negative things will probably start making sense even though its wrong.

    i also think number 8 was important because if someone you hang out with someone who is really sad or going threw somethings than you should try helping them by saying good things that are true also some encouragement words or sayings just something to make the person happy because when yur sad all the time it sometimes leads to depression and if yu say good things than you will probably get depression out of that persons head.

    number 4 was also important to me because when you cant do anything you automatically say you cand do it or you give up but you just have to push your self to do it sayings things like you can do it its just basically about having positive thoughts because with positive thoughts you can do anything.

    2. When you were talking about #8, it seemed that any friend of yours who would be in trouble would always be dependable on you for encouragement. So for that person, hanging out with you would be hanging out with positive people. You should feel proud for this being able to be someone's smile.

    3. How can you add this to your own life daily, maintaining all those traits? Because sometimes, we're often stuck with no choice. What if you cared and loved someone, but they're not exactly positive, what would you do then? :\ Would you still hangout with them, or leave them?

  13. I think that the trait that was most important is how you should spend time with positive people. I think this is important because if you spend time with positive people, they'll rub off on you. All that positiveness will be with you and then you will start to think positive.

    I also think the 8th trait is important about how you should help people around you smile. When you help others, they feel good and you also feel good about yourself.

    1. Good question, well isn't this about begin happy? If you make others happy or don't cause trouble for others, wouldn't you be happy? If you lie it creates guilt which you can't live with but, if you hurt someone will you be able to live with that?

  19. i think the trait that is importsnt is making other people smile. if you cant be happy or if someone is keeping you from beeing happy, the way you can express your happyness is through other people. seeing the effects can help you reilize that you are worth somthing more in this world.

But what happens when you always make people smile...but then you realize, that there's nothing that can make you smile? Is it just making people smile the only source of happiness? I think out of all the traits srounding your self with positive people is most important beacaue even though it might sound rude or selfese to some but forget about the people who you through where your friends and get friends who are your real frinds and positive and if if you already friends that are good postive friends then good dont lose those friends.

    1. Yes, make the right friends.. you know this is starting to sound like Rebound? Sean made a friend who was Scott. Scott wasn't one of the positive people. When Sean was about to get suspended, it wasn't Scott there to help. Now, he made friends who are positive like David and the girls. David makes most of his day and David is usually in a good mood rather than a sad expression.

The trait that would perfectly go with me is "Embrace Life's Challenges".Its also important to me because it perfectly fits my situation.I'm always on a constant battle with life.Sometimes I'm beat through rough times,and at times im just living the regular life of a teenage girl.But everything happens accordlingly to gods will.I have to learn to embrace life the way it is,not everything can happen according to my desire and will.I have to accept things the way thehy are cuz thats how life is.You never know whats gonna happen,its unpredictable.So embracing lifes up's and downs is very important.

    1. Very true. Something that I can relate to what you wrote would be text to the world. This sounds like the weather schedule! Sunny days are like a normal teenage life but, rainy days are rough days. This happens because, god wants it to happen. Just get along with it. Nobody said rainy days are made to be sad, it ca be a happy day too.

  24. From what I have just read, these posotive traits are all true and can be used easily in reality. I have done alot of these traits to keep myself happy without realizing this! This is probably one of the best self-esteem articles I had read from all this time studying this topic. The trait that I think is the best is : 7. Fill Your Own Bucket. At first I had others thigns in mind but, when I read this I couldn't change my mind. What made me choose this one is when they wrote "If you are happy for a reason, you could be in trouble, because that reason can get taken away from you." This is something I would have never thought of myself. It's always been around my head but when they wrote this, it's as if they just read somethign that I was never clearly able to say. I also think that I should also improve myself on this. I have a habit of getting upset by sudden events. Some other traits that are part of my personality are:
    -Live and Breathe the thruth
    - Embrace Life's challenges
    -Aprecciate Life's perfect moments
    -Wake up every morning with the idea that something wonderful is possible today
    Lying makes me guilty and never brings a smile. I love when I have the perfect monet and that is kept in my memories forever. This keeps me going. I will go through any challenge, not quite smiling but more often with a smile inside.

  25. I like rule #5: Become addicted to constant and never-ending self improvement.
    I like this because I use this the most in all of the rules. I do this everyday and try to improve by learning from the past. Once you do it every it comes automatically you can actually make time to sit and think about your day. Who wants to perform at the same level everyday, in order to improve you need to perfect practice makes perfect, and this would be the first step.

  26. I like rule #9 , it's better to surroud yourself with positive people. It's how you feel abut them, if they make you smile its better to involve yourself with people that are more positive. If you stay with people that are always sad and negative your day will change plus your personality.

  27. Well first off, my favorite positive trait is #9 Spending time with positive people. Why? Because the reason we can be upset can always have something to do with someone who has brought us down. We're negative when someone tells us something that isn't necessary to hear. We need to be able to spend our time with people who are positive, who love us and take care of us. Those whom we can trust. We shouldn't let others bring us down no matter what, but it is our choice on whom we should choose to hang out with...and it should be the positive kind ones. Not someone who will bring you down, and make you feel bad about yourself lending one of the most stupidest reasons.
    We must be wise on who we choose as a friend, it is very important after all. It's good to be around a positive vibe.

  28. The traits that are a part of my personality are #8, #6, and a bit of #3. I say this because it makes me feel so much better when I'm able to help the people around me smile. It makes me feel good deep down inside, especially when later on they appreciate it. I don't want to see anyone sad, and so I always let them know I'm there for them. I also find it easier to be honest because if you're direct, you don't have to go through much. People will later on appreciate the honesty you gave them, and a part of your reputation is that you are an honest person. I try as much as possible to enjoy life's perfect moments...but sometimes I don't even realize them myself until later on when they're gone and I'm going through a bad moment. I hate it when this happens, but I try my hardest to not let it.

The trait that would perfectly go with me is "Embrace Life's Challenges".It's important to me because it perfectly fits my situation.I'm always on a constant battle with life.Sometimes I'm beating through really rough times,and at times i'm just living the typical life of a teenage girl.But everything happens accordingly to gods will.I have to learn to embrace life the way it is,not everything can happen according to my desire and will.I have to accept things the way they are because that's how life is.You never know whats gonna happen,its unpredictable.So embracing life's up's and downs is very important.As they say"To succeed you must first improve, to improve you must first practice, to practice you must first learn, and to learn you must first fail."That's how life is.Were all so constantly busy with ongoing battles with life,that we completely forget to acknowledge ourselves first.At times we just lose hope completely and shatter from the inside.We need to insight these challenges to learn and move on.Life isn't perfect,no ones perfect and embracing life is a neccity in life."To live doesn't mean your alive."I have to learn to accept thing the way they are,not how they aren't I should be respectful to have this life,because somewhere out there in the world there's someone out there who are dying to have a life like mines.Not everyone has a life that they can appreciate.But we have to accept the challenges that comes with life,because everything is unexpected.The desire to have a perfect life is how we choose to look upon it.

    I like to make people around me smile.It gives me self-pride to help those feel happy in the environment around me.I may not be capable to do much for myself,although it gives me pleassure to help others.Bringing a smile on someones face is a good thing,rather then seeing them all sad and upset.Seeing others sad makes me sad.Especially my friends,I can't stand to see them down,it shatters my soul seeing my loved ones sad.Them being happy is the key to my happiness and joy.Why have others deprive the right for smiling,when i could be the reason for their smile."I'll get more affectionate and love from those around.Smiling is the best curve anyone could wear.It makes their personality more sweet.Making people smile is like being god in human form.Its a blessing to make others feel happy and smile.Everyone should smile often,and should try it sometime,it makes you feel all good from the inside.It doesn't cost much either,just someone special to make you feel that way :)Its boosts up your inner self esteem and confidence.Making someone smile is a blessing or a lesson,but it doesn't matter when your cheering up those around you.
    Spending time with positive people is also very important.If I were to hang out with people who make me feel completely useless theres no point in living a positive life.We need to be surrounded by people who love us and care for us.People who make us feel worth living life.Having positive friends can influence our outlook and aspect of life in many ways.We tend to think more positive,feel better,and have a better self esteem.It also changes the surrounding of how we feel.We feel more cared for with crowds of right and certain individuals,depending on who we chill with.So it's important to be with the right people and friends to feel positively great about ourselves.
